Written in senior year of HS. It was originally supposed to be about a cop walking a beat who dies while saving someone from harm. But as with many things it kind of took on a life of its own and went in another direction. I wrote it as a song, but the way I put it to music was repetitive and uninspired. So I think it works better as poetry.

Remember
Written for the Castle HS talent show 2009. My senior year I did a ukulele comedy bit with my friend Phil Hassman. While the judges were deliberating we performed this song to the excitement of the seniors in the audience who got all the inside jokes, and the teachers I gave a S/O to.
Lindsey’s Birthday Song
A song I wrote for Lindsey Carroll’s Sweet 16
I’m a Ninja!
Bored in History in Sophomore year of HS, I wrote this rap. The teacher asked me what I was writing, and after I explained what it was he made me get up and perform it in front of the class. I made my friend Sam Wake spit the beat while I laid out this sick track and it was glorious.
